  • PURCHASE OF PROPERTY TO EXPAND SERVICES

    Secured a grant for $50,000 to assist a non-profit's in buying a propery to expand it's transitional housing services.

    Problem
    Client had a waiting list for marginalized individuls needing housing.
    Solution
    Submitted a grant proposal to cover the cost of the the purchase of the property. From grant proposal submission to funding was less than 3 months!
  • Women's haven

    After receiving the go ahead from the city for a new transitional housing facility for women, our client needed emergency funding to fill a gap in operational expenses. Our team immediately went to work and within a few weeks had secured in excess of $30,000 in funds ($20,000) and materials ($10,000).

    Problem
    Immediate needs of funds and materials for a newly opened women's transitional housing facility .
    Solution
    Presented a compelling case to the United Way of San Angelo, Texas to secure funding.
  • Expansion of facilty

    Obtained a $44,000 grant for the acquisition of additional bed space for those individuals coming out of incarceration or in-patient rehabilitation.

    Problem
    Due to the overwhelming success of our client, they were in need of additional bedspace to alleviate a list of individuals needing transitional housing.
    Solution
    Working closely with the client (sometimes on weekends), we were able to secure funding in less than one month.

  • Grant for one year salary for Assistant Director - TGCJ

    Secured a grant for one year's salary for the Assistant Director to continue to provide services for the families of incarcerated individuals.

    Problem
    Client had a funding deficit that needed to be addressed and solved immediately.
    Solution
    Worked for 6 weeks with Board Members and Assistant Director to capture the essence of TGCJ's mission and then submitted a grant proposal to cover the cost of the yearly salary for the Assitant Director. From grant proposal submission to funding was less than 2 months!
  • Christian's IN Action

    After receiving notice that this agency was facing a gap in funding and was lacking operating expenses, our team immediately went to work and within a few days submitted a grant proposal Pro Bono.

    Problem
    Immediate needs of funds to keep the agency open and operating.
    Solution
    Submitted a grant proposal pro bono to keep the agency open so that it could continue to provided much needed services to the San Angelo Community.
  • Expansion of Operations - Hope Center

    Obtained a $100,000 grant for the expansion of operations (additional bed space, laundry room, common room, and additional bathrooms) for this transitional housing non-profit.

    Problem
    The county jail was back logged with offenders needing transitional housing and substance abuse treatment. Cost analysis revealed the savings that could be realized by moving non violent offenders into transitional housing with case management and group support services.
    Solution
    Working closely with the non-profit, the county commissioners' court, and the county jail, Catalyst Grants proposed an expansion grant to Hope Center to save the county money in housing costs..
